Heyco®-Tite Liquid Tight Cordgrips are a type of cable gland used to secure and seal electrical cables where they enter electrical enclosures, panels, or devices. They are designed to prevent moisture, dust, and other contaminants from entering the enclosure and damaging the electrical components. These cordgrips typically consist of a flexible sealing sleeve made of materials like nylon or PVC, along with a threaded body that screws into the enclosure. The cable is inserted through the sleeve, which forms a tight seal around it when the gland is tightened onto the enclosure. This ensures a secure and watertight connection. These plugs are made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), providing flexibility and durability. They are available in two durometers: standard 85 durometer and low 75 durometer, each suitable for different levels of firmness and flexibility requirements. The plugs can accommodate panel thicknesses up to 0.125 inches (3.2 mm) and fit mounting hole diameters ranging from 0.500 inches (12.7 mm) to 1.375 inches (34.9 mm).
