Photoelectric & Photo Optic Sensors
Photoelectric sensors utilize the photoelectric effect to detect the presence or absence of an object. These devices emit a light beam (usually infrared) towards a target and measure the amount of reflected or transmitted light. When an object interrupts this beam, the sensor triggers a response, often used for object detection in industrial automation. Photo optic sensors, a subset of photoelectric sensors, specifically refer to devices employing optics for light transmission and reception. These sensors find applications in various industries, such as manufacturing and robotics, providing reliable and precise detection capabilities in diverse environments.
