Hirose IX Series Next-Generation Ethernet Connector for Industrial Equipment
Hirose's ix Industrial™ snap-in I/O connector features a rugged and reliable design. It has a positive metal lock with a spring latch mechanism that provides a clear tactile click and ensures complete secure mating. The spring latches are designed to prevent unintended cable removal and are rated to more than 5,000 mating/unmating cycles. The ix Industrial socket size is 75% smaller when compared to the existing RJ45 modular connectors and offers ideal space savings for applications with miniaturized requirements.

- Supports 10mm pitch parallel mounting
- Locking is completed simply by inserting the plug into the receptacle. The audible click indicates mating completion. The lock can be released easily by pushing on the plug buttons while pulling out
- PCB-mounted receptacle shell is designed to minimize the influence of prying forces from the plug side on the mated surface
- Through-holes prevent peeling of the mounted portion of the contact
- Stainless steel is used to enhance the mechanical strength of the metal parts
