Reed Relays
Reed relays are compact electromechanical switches used in electronic circuits. They consist of a pair of ferromagnetic reeds enclosed in a glass or metal tube, typically sealed in an inert atmosphere. When a magnetic field is applied, the reeds attract and make contact, completing the electrical circuit. Reed relays offer high sensitivity, low power consumption, and fast switching speeds. Their hermetically sealed design ensures reliability by preventing oxidation and contamination. Commonly used in telecommunications, automated test equipment, and medical devices, reed relays provide a reliable and durable solution for applications requiring precise and rapid electrical switching.
