MIL-DTL-28840 harsh environment connectors are designed for rugged applications, offering a variety of receptacles and plugs with straight, 45°, and 90° backshells. Available in 9 shell sizes and 9 insert arrangements, these connectors feature M39029 size 20 crimp removable contacts for reliable connectivity. Constructed from wrought aluminum, corrosion-resistant, or stainless steel, they come with various plating options including olive drab cadmium, black cadmium, and zinc nickel. RoHS-compliant finishes are also available. The MIL-DTL-28840 series is MIL-SPEC certified and suitable for high shock, high density, and shipboard environments. Included in this selection is the 45° Strain Relief accessory, providing secure cable management for the 15 shell size connectors, with a maximum operating temperature of 200°C and a minimum of -55°C.
