Amphenol RF 12G High-Frequency BNC & HD-BNC Connectors for Broadcast
Amphenol RF 12G-SDI BNC & HD-BNC Connectors utilize data transfer rates of up to 12Gb/s to enable the transmission of high resolution uncompressed video signals. These connectors provide 4K and ultra-HD quality signals in miniature and high-density sub-miniature package sizes, with the familiar feel of the BNC mating system. The extended line of PCB Jacks include straight, right-angle and edge-mount configurations. These 75 ohm 12G-SDI connectors are designed to perform at frequencies up to 18 GHz with the familiar BNC bayonet coupling mechanism, a feature popular with engineers and application designers.
Connector housings are made from machined brass, with beryllium copper outer contacts for secure mating. Plug housings and ferrules are nickel plated for durability, and jack bodies are plated tin for solderability. Both have outer and center contacts plated gold for maximum electrical performance.
Cable assemblies are available in BNC to BNC, HD-BNC to HD-BNC and HD-BNC to BNC straight plug configurations.
These 12G products have a variety of applications including remote viewing, digital signage and mobile broadcasting.
