Molex EdgeMate Power Connector
Molex EdgeMate Wire-to-Edge-Card Power Connector, with optional positive PCB-lock, eliminates the need for a mating header. These connectors are designed for wire-to-edge-card termination and offer low cost, foolproof mating to a PCB in both locking or non-locking versions.
EdgeMate connectors come on a 3.96 mm pitch and feature a polarized, halogen free, nylon housing with an optional positive lock. The bifurcated terminals are rated to 250V @ 7A, an operating temperature of 0 to +75 C, and up to 25 mating cycles.
- Mates directly to the PCB edge card without a mating header that leads to reduced inventory, bill-of-material and manufacturing costs without having to invest in headers.
- Positive-lock design that offfers strong PCB-to-connector retention.
- Polarized housing ensures correct orientation with the PCB.
- Bifurcated (dual contact-point) terminals support up to 7.0A current that allows secondary current paths for long-term electrical performance and reliability.
- Polarized crimp terminal that ensures correct terminal orientation and insertion.
