TE Power Versa-Lock Connector System
TE introduces a new in-line connector system for wire-to-wire applications offering a flexible power solution that provides up to a 15A rating. The TE Power Versa-Lock Connector System is designed with a connector mounting clip on the cap housings to help reduce connector movement for high vibration applications like washing machines. This replaces the need for manually installing wire ties to hold mounting clips helping to reduce the manual labor required in the assembly process.
- 5.0mm centerline spacing
- Flexible housing design for unsealed and sealed applications
- Current rating up to 15A
- 600V voltage rating
- Position sizes
- 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4 not yet tooled, 3x3 in development (Single row)
- 2x3 in-line and also a Twist and Lock cap option for refrigeration (Dual row)
- 18° angled Twist and Lock connector allows for condensation to drip away from the connection
- Housings are UL 94-V0, GWT in development
- Tab and receptacle contact system
- 14AWG to 26AWG wire range
- IP67 optional sealing system using gang seals
- Perimeter interface seal for lower mating force
- Optional accessories
- Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) for unsealed 2x3 applications
- Back covers for sealed applications 1x1, 1x2, 1x3
- TPAs cannot be used with seals
- Keys and colors
- Connector mounting clip feature on cap housing for use in applications where connector would not move (vibration, harsh environments)
