OMRON 3D B5L Time of Flight Sensor
OMRON is pleased to announce the release of the new 3D B5L Time of Flight Sensor. This sensor measures object shape, volume, and distance for factory automation and human detection applications.
OMRON has released the new Time of Flight sensor, as an alternative solution to applications requiring competing technology such as LiDAR or 2D ToF sensing. The sensor’s wide field of view and distance capabilities allows for easy detection of obstacles as well as overhead objects and surface edges. The sensor can be used for both stationary and moving objects, making it a key tool for human detection applications. The sensor is highly accurate, and can perform to factory specifications even in direct light up to 100,000lx.
