HARTING RJ Industrial MultiFeature IDC Connectors
The HARTING RJ Industrial MF series is characterized by tool-free assembly, easier assembly and a robust metal housing. The highlight of the new RJ45 series are the integrated blades, which shorten the individual strands to the correct length when closing the connector. Virtually a built-in side cutter. This eliminates the time-consuming work, and the assembly process is more than 25% faster.
- IDC Termination prevents the need for specialized or proprietary tooling to terminate connectors to Ethernet cable
- Integrated cutting blades reduces assembly time
- Allows for cutting of the excess wire lengths without doing measurements
- Cable direction can be adjusted 4 ways with respect to the connector before or after the assembly process
- Number of contacts: 4 for Cat 5 and 8 for Cat 6a
- Up to 100Mbit/s (Cat 5) and up to 10 Gbits (Cat 6a)
- 360 degree contact shielding
- Compatible with 4.5mm to 9mm cable OD
