OMRON B5W-DB Long Distance Sensor

The new OMRON B5W-DB Long Distance Object Detection Sensor expands their current B5W sensor lineup, offering a longer distance version detecting objects over half a meter away. The B5W Sensor has been a key component for object detection applications and touchless switches. The latest version of this product expands the distance capabilities of this sensor, increasing the sensing distance to up to 550mm. This sensor is produced with space constraints in mind, keeping the smaller package size from the previous super-miniature B5W-LB release. This sensor also operates the same as the previous iterations of the B5W object detection sensors, meaning it will be able to detect a wide range of objects, no matter the color, reflectiveness, or transparency.
