TE Positive Lock Multi-Position Connector with X-LIF Terminal
TE Connectivity's (TE) new Positive Lock multi-position connector with extra low insertion force (X-LIF) terminal was developed to meet industry demands for improved production efficiency and easier part mating. The multi-position connector helps improve assembly efficiency by mating multiple printed circuit board (PCB) position tabs, while the positive lock feature and error-proof housing simplify assembly by preventing half-mated and mis-mated connectors. The positive lock connector enables easy, ergonomic assembly with the combination of an innovative latch structure and F-spring terminals that require low mating force (<15N/ single position).
