HARTING Han® M12 GND Modules
HARTING Han® M12 GND Modules offer the same dimensions and features as the previous Han M12 module but include a grounding (GND) spring plate that is fixed on the module. This GND spring plate makes an electrical connection from the shield of the M12 insert to the hinged frames, so that the shield is grounded. All other technical features and outer dimensions of the HARTING Han M12 GND Modules match the pre-existing M12 module, making them 100% mating compatible. The existing D-coded and X-coded M12 inserts are suitable, meaning the shield will be connected to the ground potential of the hinged frames. In addition the special Han M12 inserts with metal nut can be used in these GND modules (these inserts are recommended for the use in the Han M12 GND modules only).
- All other technical features and outer dimensions are identical to the existing M12 module, therefore it is 100% mating compatible
- Special Han M12 inserts with metal nut can be used in GND modules (recommended for use in the Han M12 GND modules only)
- Space-saving alternative to the Han-Quintax, Han Gigabit or Hand Megabit module
- X-coded M12 will save 50% space compared to the Han Gigabit
- D-Coded M12 advantage compared to Han Megabit module: each M12 can be preassembled and installed separately, allowing cables to be installed separately which saves installation time
