Molex's high-density 0.40mm pitch FD4P series Easy-On FFC/FPC connectors offer a low-profile height of 2.00mm that can cover up to 120 circuits. These features provide high contact reliability and a high retention force, making the series a versatile, space-saving solution for harsh environments, such as when there are shocks and vibrations, as the terminal provides independent double-beam contact. The design of the Molex FD4P Easy-On FFC / FPC Connectors ensures the correct mating position of an FFC/FPC cable; if the cable is misaligned, the ear of the cable can be seen in the visual detection area.
- High-density pin count integrates the desired functions with a nearly 17% smaller PWB area compared to competitors; this translates to significant space savings
