TE Kilovac KHR500 Contactor
TE Connectivity (TE) introduces the "BUBBA II" Kilovac KHR Series Relay. This is the newest and smallest version of the popular BUBBA Series of contactors. The Kilovac KHR500 High Rupture product series is designed to accommodate the high inrush currents associated with Lithium Ion Battery management.
The BUBBA II is Hermetically Sealed, operates in explosive/harsh environments, features a 3300A break at 400Vdc, and has a continuous current rating of 600 Amps. Unlike the EV200, EV250 and EV500, this new device is bi-directional for load switching. The BUBBA II is also available with integrated PWM coil economizer or a dual coil electronic "cut-throat" economizer.
