Amphenol RF SMA Stainless Steel Cable Assemblies
Amphenol RF has introduced a new line of Stainless Steel SMA connectors and cable assemblies featuring anti-torque bodies. These new connectors and assemblies offer several advantages over their current configurations. The connectors have the benefit of the anti-torque body preventing the cable from being damaged when the connector is mated and this product represents their first foray into stainless steel assemblies.
The SMA connectors have a passivated stainless steel coupling nut over a gold-plated connector body. These connectors are available in straight plug configurations and designed to terminate with 0.085" conformable cable and 0.141" conformable cable.
The anti-torque stainless steel SMA cable assemblies are available in straight plug to straight plug configurations with 0.085" or 0.141" diameter conformable semi-rigid cable. For applications requiring a more flexible cable, TFlex 405 by Amphenol Times Microwave is available. Cables are available in standard imperial lengths of 6,7,8,9,10,12,18,24 and 36 inches, as well as metric lengths of 0.25, 0.50, 1.0 meters. Custom lengths are available.
Amphenol RF anti-torque stainless steel connectors and cable assemblies are designed to operate up to 18 GHz, making them ideal for high frequency applications.
