Omron Environmental Sensor
Omron's environmental sensor has 6 sensing capabilities depending on the mode it is functioning in. These sensors include: Temperature, Humidity, Light, Pressure, Sound Intensity and UVI.
The near miniature package size, 46 x 39 x 15mm, showcases Omron’s ability to package multiple accurate sensors without sacrificing product size.
Out of the box, the Environmental Sensor works directly with an Omron designed smart phone application to provide any user with a variety of sensing data just by looking at their phone.
- 6 sensing capabilities which include: temperature, humidity, light, pressure, noise and UVI
- Battery operable with small package (46 x 39 x 15mm), including 6 sensors
- The environmental sensor sends data directly to the user’s smart phone application; that data is also recorded and displayed to show trends of environment conditions
- Bluetooth communication capabilities directly connect the 2JCIE-BL01 to Omron’s smartphone application
- Embedded memory for data logging can keep track of surrounding environments and its historical data
- Beacon mode allows for the 2JCIE-BL01 to communicate directly with the user’s smartphone app, and broadcast mode allows the 2JCIE-BL01 to communicate through a gateway to send environmental data to the user’s cloud service
