Ocean applicator 2151491 replaced hold down assembly 1803870-1 with item 297 tonker spacer 1803944-1, item 298 M3 x 6 set screws 4-18032-3, item 299 compression spring 22278-9, item 300 tonker 1803945-2 . This change supports TE internal manufacturing processes and does not impact part performance. This change will be implemented on future applicator/component orders but is not required for the functionality of existing applicators/components in the field.

The following parts were changed. Item number 7, spacer, part number 1-240641-6. Item number 53, socket head cap screw, part number 2168083-8. Item number 81, spacer, part number 240641-6. The following part was removed. Item number 18, terminal hold down, part number 1803155-2. The following part was added. Item number 50, spring loaded hold down, part number 1803870-1. This change will be implemented on future applicator orders but is not required for the functionality of existing applicators in the field. |

Item number 7, spacer, part number 3-240641-7. Item number 34, terminal support, part number 1752356-6. This change will be implemented on future applicator orders but is not required for the functionality of existing applicators in the field.

E-19-010679 - Product Improvement. The following changes are to optimize the crimp after anvil part number 1-1338690-1 was changed to revision AG to meet 0.3mm MAX step requirement specified in the application specification. Item number 18, terminal hold down, was changed from 1803155-1 to 1803155-2 to improve terminal straightness. Front bell mouth was changed on wire crimper part number 1-1633773-6 to eliminate marks in transition area between wire barrel and receptacle. This change will be implemented on future applicator orders and is recommended for existing applicators in the field if bending or tool mark issues are observed. |

E-18-006774 - Product Improvement. OCEAN applicator 2151491 has been upgraded to OCEAN 2.0, to include: enhanced terminal strip guide assembly and wire crimp height ram assembly. No change to previous applicator revisions are required. Where listed on the applicator logs-sheet, all terminals have been qualified using the stated crimp specification. In addition, 2151867 is being obsoleted and new versions are being added to 2151491. |
