- High voltage wire processing equipment
- Insertion and extraction tools
- Insulation displacement crimp
- Pin insertion machines
- Portable crimp tools
The TE Connectivity (TE) Terminal Cutter tool enables operators to easily cut side-feed, front-carrier terminal strips and reels. This gives customers the ability to create loose piece terminals with precision. This avoids damaging products or creating sharp burs that are commonly associated with using traditional wire snips or other cutting tools.
T2212 Thermal Transfer Printer
The T2212 is a robust entry level industrial computer-driven 300dpi thermal transfer printer. Specially designed to print on a wide range of TE labels, cable markers, and identification marker sleeves. New full-color touch screen interface, with intuitive icon-based setting adjustments. Various preloaded tutorials answer commonly-asked questions without the unit having to connect to the internet. The Printer is equipped with additional RS232 port and Flash card, USB, Ethernet and serial ports. Labels or ribbons can also be loaded quickly and easily.
T3212 and T3224 Thermal Transfer Printers
The T3212 and T3224 are robust 24-hour duty cycle industrial computer-driven 300 or 600 dpi thermal transfer printers. They have been specially designed to print on a wide range of TE labels, cable markers, and identification marker sleeves. They have a full-color touch screen interface, with intuitive icon-based setting adjustments. Various preloaded tutorials answer commonly-asked questions without the unit having to connect to the internet. If however an internet connection is required for your application, this can be done wirelessly via a local Wi-Fi network, or via cable: the printers are equipped with USB, Ethernet and serial ports. Labels or ribbons can also be loaded quickly and easily. “Smart” print heads have built-in memory to facilitate the maintenance program. This includes the tracking of prints and the printing temperature.
GII+ Benchtop Terminator
TE’s model GII+ Benchtop Terminator provides the latest and most advanced design in the long-standing series of AMP-O-LECTRIC machines for terminating wire using reeled terminals and contacts. It features a reliable and long lasting brush-less motor drive. This unit is designed and built to continue the tradition of “work-horse” terminators from TE.
TE has significantly updated lighting in the under cabinet and target area. The Crimp Quality Monitor (CQM II) continues to be located at eye level for bench-top use. The Model GII is one of the quietest machines available, plus improved guarding meets applicable European and domestic safety requirements.
All Model GII versions include precision adjustment for crimp height – an important feature, which, in combination with the optional CQM II, will enable you to maintain the tight tolerances required for today’s demands for higher levels of quality. By simply resetting a dial, an operator can adjust crimp height in 0.013 [.0005”] increments over a 0.457 [.018”] range.
The controls will also detect and report errors in the machine and stop cycling when a bad crimp is detected by the CQM II. The operator must then push the reset button to continue. The Model “G II” will accept all existing TE miniature applicators.
