Amphenol Industrial Operations’ introduces a UL 1977-approved, revolutionary female contact, equipped with the patented Vortex Clip™. The patented Vortex Clip™ design increases the number of contact points, leading to improved conductivity. Moreover, it allows for coupling with 80% less effort compared to the conventional industry standard.
Crafted from high-quality pure copper (Cu11 000) and coated with a leading 6µm layer of silver, the contacts from Amphenol Industrial Operations / Eaxtron exhibit minimal wear and tear. The Vortex Clip’s unique design significantly lowers coupling friction, thereby extending the contact’s lifespan. The use of Polyamide material ensures exceptional performance under challenging conditions. The contacts also feature flexible and highly durable handles, reducing the likelihood of handle breakage, a common reason for premature replacement. The preliminary outcomes of ongoing tests indicate that an AIO connector can endure up to twelve thousand cycles, which is over twice the typical industry standard.

Amphenol’s 97 Series general duty standard cylindrical connectors serve as a lower cost, commercial equivalent to MIL-DTL-5015 connectors. This extremely versatile and rugged connector family is used in the automotive, robotics, machine tool and welding industries, as well as in numerous commercial applications ranging from heavy equipment to ECG monitoring cables.
UL and CSA recognized, the 97 Series is highly versatile. Customers can choose from six shell options, 128 contact arrangements, accomodating from 1 to 52 circuits. This makes it one of the most adaptable connectors available, with one of the largest selections of insert patterns in the market. The connectors are available in a wide variety of cadmium and non-cadmium finishes, while contacts are offered in crimp, solder, thermocouple and PCB styles.

Amphenol Industrial’s Surlok Plus connectors are high-amperage connectors designed for power distribution and energy storage applications. The SurLok Plus™ compression lug is a field installable, high reliable alternative to common compression lugs. Using industry standard crimp, screw, and busbar termination options, thus eliminating the need to purchase special torque tools.
Amphenol’s SurLok Plus™ is an environmentally sealed version of our the SurLok but available in smaller sizes, and features a quick lock and press-to-release design. Incorporating the latest R4 RADSOK® Technology, SurLok Plus™ is a compact, quick mating, and robust product line.
The RADSOK® high amperage contact technology utilizes high tensile strength properties of a stamped and formed, high conductivity alloy grid to produce low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area.
The connector features R4 RADSOK® contact technology with various termination options (threaded, crimp, and busbar). SurLok Plus is IP67 rated, RoHS compliant, has a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +125°C) and meets UL94 V-0 (self-extinguishing) requirements.
