Amphenol Industrial Operations’ offers a UL 1977-approved, effortless, and arc-less DIN connector for the modern logistics industry. The patented Vortex Clip™ creates more contact points, improves conductivity, and dramatically reduces the effort required for coupling. The unique spiraling shape allows for more contact points, providing a higher rate of conductivity and it also facilitates coupling with 80% less effort than the industry standard. The polyamide material guarantees robust performance in even the toughest of working conditions. These flexible handles are highly durable, so you can avoid the most common cause and cost of early replacement, broken handles.The connector is tested to 12,000 mating cycles compared to 7,000 from competing products.
The Eaxtron UL1977 DIN connectors exhibit patented locking mechanisms that work in conjunction with the user to provide an arcless experience. Additionally, the unique design of the female contacts and durable housing nullifies all ‘inevitable’ arcs.
These connectors are available in multiple voltage ratings from 24V to 80V and feature 2x power pins and up to 4x signal pins. 160A, 320A, and 430A specifications are available.
The contacts are made from pure copper (Cu11 000) and plated with an industry-leading 6µm of silver. The plating ensures minimal wear and tear on the contact. Typical applications include material handling, ground support equipment, maintenance, repair, and operations.

The ePower-Lite plastic power connectors are designed for the hybrid and electric vehicle markets and feature a lightweight plastic shell and compact design to save both weight and space in vehicle architecture. They comprise a medium-amperage connection system rated to up to 120 A of continuous current and have an operating voltage of 1000 VDC. These plastic power connectors offer two-, three-, and four-pole systems with optional High-Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding for safety and performance.
Amphenol’s ePower-Lite connector series is built to meet the demanding needs of medium-voltage and medium-amperage applications. It incorporates 3.6mm terminals with Amphenol’s patented RADSOK technology to achieve higher current ratings, lower insertion forces and lower temperature rise and contact resistance. And with low insertion force, the connectors require no mechanical assistance devices for mating and unmating.
The touch-proof ePower-Lite connectors are RoHS compliant and can be mated a minimum of 100 times for charging, accessory power, or any applications that require a sealed medium-power connector. The connectors have a UL 94V-0 flammability rating, an IP67 rating when mated, and an operating temperature range of -40 to 125 degrees Celsius, making them suitable for automotive, power converter, heavy equipment, two- and three-phase motors, and other power applications.
