Amphenol PCD offers connector backshells that are RoHS-compliant and qualified to AS85049 specification. The backshells provide strain relief, environmental sealing, and EMI/RFI shielding at the termination of virtually any connector.
These backshells are available in both military (MIL) specification and commercial types for most any application and meet the SAE AS85049 standard. The base material is constructed of aluminum alloy, stainless steel, brass, or composite, complemented by a variety of finishes. Most Amphenol Pcd backshells meet or exceed RoHS and REACH compliant standards.
Heilind stocks a large assortment of connector dust caps – including hundreds of MIL-SPEC dust caps in stock and ready to ship. These plug and receptacle dust covers protect the mating surfaces of the connectors from environmental contaminants, moisture, mechanical damage, and EMI interference.
The covers feature a variety of attachment styles and are available for circular connectors in both threaded and bayonet versions. We have metallic dust caps for MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-DTL-26482, MIL-DTL-5015, and more.
