FEATURED PRODUCT LINES
The G9KB relay expands design possibilities with a high DC load capability (600V 50A), designed to handle continuous carry current and provide highly effective non-polarized arc-controlled switching to maximize performance.
This makes the relay ideal for application within a power conditioner and domestic-scale renewable energy systems; for example, where electricity from solar panels is being used to charge an electric vehicle.
The relay conforms to safety standards (UL60947-4-1, EN61810-10) required for solar power generation system components and acquired electricity storage system components. G9KB simplifies the application procedure for safety standards of the customer’s products.
Also, it is suitable for next generation vehicle to home (V2H) and vehicle to grid (V2G) charger systems.
G9KA-E High Power PCB AC Relay
The G9KA PCB Power Relay is an expansion of Omron’s high power relay lineup with ultra-low contact resistance.
This SPST-NO relay supports high current applications with high capacity load ratings. The high capacity and low contact resistance characteristics makes the G9KA ideal for PV inverters/power conditioners and industrial inverters, as well as UPS systems. This 200A, high power relay reduces the necessity for complex temperature designs and inclusion of heat transfer devices due to low contact resistance as compared to similar relays. It can support designs with high voltage requirements up to 800VAC.
OMRON has released a new version of their D6T Thermal IR sensor that enables a more defined image of what’s being detected thanks to its 32×32 pixel array.
The OMRON D6T thermal IR sensor has a wide field of view (90×90 degrees) allowing the user to view a much larger space to determine human occupancy or abnormal heat signatures. The sensor is capable of detecting objects up to 200 degrees C.
Because the D6T is tuned to recognize the heat signature of a human wavelength, applications can include stationary or moving human presence detection, power conservation where devices power down when no human presence is detected, and security detection applications.
D6T series sensors can detect the slightest temperature changes that can be used in variety of applications including energy-efficient home appliances and security systems. The sensors can also be used in the application fields of HEMS (Home Energy Management System) and BEMS (Building Energy Management System).
OMRON’s 3D B5L Time of Flight Sensor measures object shape, volume, and distance for factory automation and human detection applications.
OMRON has released the new Time of Flight sensor, as an alternative solution to applications requiring competing technology such as LiDAR or 2D ToF sensing. The sensor’s wide field of view and distance capabilities allows for easy detection of obstacles as well as overhead objects and surface edges. The sensor can be used for both stationary and moving objects, making it a key tool for human detection applications. The sensor is highly accurate, and can perform to factory specifications even in direct light up to 100,000lx.
Omron expands its sensor product line with the addition of Air Quality Sensor B5W-LD0101-1 offering high sensitivity, greater air flow intake and a smaller package size.
Omron B5W-LD0101 High Sensitivity Air Quality Sensor is a high precision air quality/dust sensor capable of detecting 0.5µm particles. Omron B5W-LD0101 Air Quality Sensor provides greater airflow intake than previous sensors using an original duct structure that breathes in air stably and effectively. This intake system allows for sampling a greater air volume for more consistent and accurate results. This Omron sensor features a slim 52.3 x 39.3 x 17.6mm (W x H x D) package. The device meets demands for smart home applications in air conditioners and air purifiers.
