PCN-21-118399 - Manufacturing locations added. DEUTSCH DT Series Wedgelocks Production Manufacturing Location Change. The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding an additional manufacturing location for the following part numbers, to our TE plant based at Shanghai, China. Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. This change is necessary to increase capacity and improve delivery to you, the Customer. The change will not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The changes are being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed.

PCN-21-118794 - Material change. TE Connectivity is making a material change to the DT wedge locks resin for the part numbers listed below. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawings are not affected. Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change as part of our continuous improvement efforts. The flammability rating on the newly approved wedge lock material is V-0 while the current one is HB. The current and the new raw materials are PBT 30G. Change does not affect fit, form and fuction. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The change is being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use.

If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are not affected. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The change is necessary to use less colorant due to a global shortage of material. The change does not impact performance.

E-16-010359 - Product Improvement. Dear Customer, we inform you of this process change as part of our aggressive continuous improvement efforts. The current supplier is a single source supplier and will no longer supply pre-colored raw material. To address the supply restrictions TEC is implementing supplier and process change. The current and the new raw material is PBT 30GF, however the new raw material will be colored at the molding press. The change will be managed by TEC TS16949 quality procedures. The change does not affect the fit, form and function of the connectors. The change has been validated with manufacturing and laboratory testing. An internal release based on our specifications will be executed before any parts are delivered. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. This change is being phased-in gradually and the previous revision can remain stocked until use. |
