The plugs and receptacle are available with straight, 45°, and 90° backshells. They are offered in 9 shell sizes and 9 insert arrangements, utilizing M39029 size 20 crimp removable contacts. MIL-DTL-28840 connectors are offered in wrought aluminum as well as both corrosion resistant and stainless steel.
