NKK Switches KP04 Series Illuminated Surface Mount Pushbuttons
NKK Switches KP04 surface mount pushbuttons with illumination originates from the exceedingly popular KP Series. The KP04 has a compact design of only 0.906” (23.0mm) above the PC board to the top of the cap and a flat, sculptured or home key cap in three sizes. Available with RGB LED (RGBP) with full color spectrum for unlimited, stable and consistent color options or RGB plus white LED (RGBW) which aids in reducing variations of color tones for white illumination.
- Actuation options in nontactile or tactile/audible contribute to coordinating with the requirements of any function or panel design
- Lens or film inserts are suitable surfaces for custom legends to simplify user navigation
- Tray packaging is available for use with mounting machines
- Surface mount technology facilitates diminished board and material handling expenses, in addition to minimized routing of traces and fewer drilled holes
- Distinct, total travel of 0.138" (3.5mm)
- Twin contacts with gold plating assure high reliability and long life of 3 million operations minimum
