JAE MX81 Series Compact Automotive Board-to-Cable Connectors
JAE MX81 Series of unsealed compact connectors are ideal for interfacing with small control modules in vehicles, such as sensors, switches, lighting, and other applications. Despite their compact size, the MX81 Series supports a wide range of wire sizes as well as a high current carrying capacity of over 10A. They are tested to USCAR-2 and LV214 specifications to ensure reliability in high-vibration environments. This series shares the same crimp socket terminals as the popular MX80 Series of sealed connectors allowing the same reliable terminals to be used for both sealed and unsealed areas of the vehicle.
- ISO/JASO/EWCAP/VDA standard 0.64mm tab size
- Socket contacts are the same as those of sealed MX80 Series
- Socket housing is one-piece type with hinged retainer
- Pin header is through-hole reflow compatible, and the housings use UL94 V-0 rated material
- USCAR-2 Tested
- Compatible with 2.54mm pitch pin contacts and small size
- Multiple colored key codes are available
