TE Connectivity STRADA Product Extension
TE Connectivity's new STRADA Whisper vertical receptacle continues to offer the best in class performance only found with TE's proven family of STRADA Whisper connectors. The new vertical receptacle features a robust mechanical design that connects to TE's existing STRADA Whisper vertical Pair in Row (PIR) header to enable mezzanine and cable connected configurations.
The new vertical receptacle offers worry free alignment and increased system bandwidth. The increased un-mating tolerance reduces signal integrity performance issues and maintains electrical performance even when the connector is not fully mated.
- Connects to standard STRADA Whisper vertical header for mezzanine applications
- Connects to standard STRADA Whisper cable header for cable connections to center of a PCB
- 15mm stack height for mezzanine applications
- Fully compatible with standard card cage design practices (sequencing, wipe, lead-in, unmate)
- Controlled impedance and coupling throughout the design. Includes orphan grounds for 360° shielding for all differential pairs in the connector
