PCN-22-128545- Packaging Change. This PCN is to inform customers of changes to the packaging of the boxes used for the Heat Shrink Tubing products supplied in the Stick format (-STK, 1.2metre/4ft lengths). The new packaging is to improve the robustness of the packaging during transportation and storage. It moves away form the square cross section boxes to a more rectangular cross section. This gives greater stability when boxes are stacked and improves the strength of the boxes |

Having qualified TE Connectivity SCT tubing for manufacture in Shanghai China we are asking customers in Asia Pacific to accept this manufacturing location as an alternative to the current location in Trutnov CZ Republic. Manufacturing will continue in Trutnov to service the EMEA and USA markets. The additional manufacturing location is under a certified quality management system according the standard industry requirements. |

The boxes are moving from a square profile to a rectangular one with different cardboard and latching method. We will be transitioning boxes as existing packaging is consumed so not all product will change at the same time.

The requirements of the Proposition 65 (Prop 65) a Californian Safe water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 now requires that we warn customers that some of our tubing products contain Antimony in the material make up.
