PCN-22-156580 - PCN correction. this PCN is a correction of PCN-22-125558 as we do not make use of a white adhesive but have qualified an orange adhesive. The reason for the change keeps the same: To keep aligned with the regulations of RoHS not just for the finished relay but also throughout the complete process of production we change the sealing adhesive. The following qualification tests did not show any difference to the current adhesive: contact compatibility test, thermal endurance, mechanical endurance, relay tightness test. Change for relay sealing: to keep aligned with the regulations of RoHS not just for the finished relay but also throughout the complete process of production we change the sealing adhesive. The improved adhesive appears white at the bottom of the relay. The qualification tests did not show any difference to the current adhesive (orange color). |

E-20-006265 - REACH Correction. Document clarification.Dear customer! In our PE & RE/L relay series, we use an adhesive, which contains SVHC BPA above REACH threshold of 0.1%. Our Statement of Compliance for the relays did not consider this fact, as it is based on a material declaration from our supplier, which turned out to be wrong. After detecting this error, since March 2020 we corrected the product compliance declaration accordingly and these are linked to the affected products on our homepages. We are working to find potential alternative adhesives, which might enable us to declare containing REACH SVHC below threshold again, but for the time being, the SoC similar to the enclosed is valid for the PE & RE/L relay series. Apologies for any inconveniences caused. |
