Molex Brad M12 and M8 Field Attachable Connectors
Molex introduces the Brad® M12 and M8 Field Attachable Connectors. These Molex connectors provide customers a flexible solution to install and adapt their automation infrastructure to the requirements of their complex machines. The M12 A-Code and M8 field attachable for I/O is now available with IDC termination and color coding for each pin. This feature saves up to 80% labor effort compared to screw terminated termination.
The M12 A-Code Shielded connectors support up to 8 poles and extend application support to analog signals with proper signal protection against EMC. Molex's M12 and M8 Field Attachable Connectors are best for industries including machine building, factory automation and commercial vehicles.
- Enhanced, comprehensive field attachable portfolio to complete Molex's current overmolded solutions and complements Flamar's raw cable capabilities allows Molex to deliver a solution that can fulfill almost all application requirements from customers.
- M12 A-Code and M8 field attachable for I/O is now available with IDC termination and color coding for each pin, which saves up to 80% of labor effort compared to screw terminated termination. This feature responds to industry needs for M8 connectivity, as this interface has the highest volume of connectors installed on machines.
- M12 A-Code Shielded connectors support up to 8 poles, which extends application support to analog signals with proper signal protection against EMC. It also delivers solutions for encoder applications (8 poles shielded) or safety equipment (8 poles unshielded).
- Addition of M12 A-Code analog support eases identification of safety infrastructure compared to standard I/O infrastructure.
