Molex introduces the ValuSeal™ Wire-to-Wire Connector System that produces industry-leading cost efficiencies and IP65 sealing protection. The innovative, one-piece design eliminates failures and issues associated with use of unsealed connector systems in adverse conditions. Molex's ValuSeal system is ideal for consumer, non-automotive transportation and industrial applications.
Due to the expensive cost of IP65 rated connectors, customers often choose the unsealed connector options that lead to malfunctions and failures. The one-piece design in Molex's ValuSeal Wire-to-Wire Connector System delivers reliable, sealed performance at an industry-best price point, eliminates failures and issues associated with the use of unsealed connector systems in adverse conditions, and delivers valuable cost efficiencies.
- IP65-rated, integrated wire-and-ring seal (for wire type: 16 AWG UL1061, 18 AWG UL1007, 18 AWG UL1095) eliminated ingress of dust and protects against low-pressure jets of water from all directions. Operates in harsh, wet environments and creates design and cost efficiencies.
- One-piece housing design simplifies assembly process to create cost savings that boosts efficiency by reducing the number of components.
- Compact 4.00mm pitch enhances design flexibility in applications where space is severely limited.
- Positive latch ensures proper mating and high-disengagement force between the plug and receptacle.
- Integrated wire strain-relief in the connector body prevents over-bending, failure of wire at the connector body and eliminates leak-paths often found in other connector systems.
- Crimp-and-poke wire assembly simplifies wire assembly for added cost efficiency.
- 2-circuit connector currently available; 4-circuit coming in Q2 2017.
