TE Connectivity zQSFP+ Connectors
TE introduces zQSFP+ (z-Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) interconnects, offering 2.5 times more throughput than existing solutions at a data transfer rate of 28 Gbps to meet high speed design requirements. The comprehensive product portfolio allows for backwards compatibility with QSFP/QSFP+ cables and transceivers to enable a simple upgrade path from 10 Gbps to 28 Gbps applications.
- Increase data rates with 2.5 times more throughput than existing solutions at 28 Gbps
- Support 100 Gbps Ethernet and 100 Gbps InfiniBand (IB) Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) requirements, and 128G Fibre Channel and 25G/50G Consortium
- Maintain compatibility with an industry standard interface
- Allow for simple upgrade paths from 10 Gbps with backwards compatibility to QSFP/ QSFP+ cables and transceivers
- Help improve EMI and thermal performance with enhanced cage design
