TE Connectivity Low Insertion Force FASTON Terminals
TE Connectivity introduces two new series of low insertion force terminals to the FASTON product family. Both of the terminal series offer design flexibility and improved productivity.
The high temperature series of FASTON terminals are rated to withstand temperatures up to 250°C and feature a "dog bone" design that allows the tabs to slide into place on rolled edges.
The brass receptacle series is a complete redesign of the budget-style terminals and offers a significant price advantage with TE quality.
Both series of FASTON terminals are great for all point-to-point connections that require a quick disconnect.
- Improve productivity with ergonomic design offering a maximum insertion force of only 8 pounds-force (lbs.) [36N] for high temperature receptacles and 6 pounds-force (lbs.) [27N] for brass receptacles
- Reduces injuries caused by repetitive motion
- Enable safe and reliable connection with high temperature terminal design rated up to 250°C
- Eliminate secondary insulation operation with pre-insulated Ultra-Pod receptacles rated up to 150°C
